Jo Stenuit is a Belgian automotive designer and currently serves as Design Director at Mazda Motor Europe’s R&D Centre in Oberursel, Germany, a role he has held since 2018. With nearly three decades of experience in automotive design, he has played a key role in shaping Mazda’s European design identity.

Jo joined Mazda Motor Europe in 1998 and has since contributed to numerous landmark projects. As Assistant Chief Designer, he worked on standout concept cars such as the Kiyora Concept (Paris 2008) and the Hakaze Concept (Geneva 2007), and led interior design for production models including the Mazda3 (2008) and Mazda CX-7 (2004–2006). He later became Senior Design Manager, Brand Style, before advancing to his current leadership position.
